MS/RP/MD RULES
Below are the Match Scheduling, Role Play, and Match Description rules for WWE 2K21
MATCH SCHEDULING (MS)
I.
MS PROTOCOL - When you have a match, check the current Roster Page for your opponent/partner's PSN ID and
add them on your PSN.
Schedule your match through
FB Messenger or
PSN stating the
times and dates for when you will be available, along with your timezone (e.g. Pacific, Eastern). Lastly, it is the
Match Winners Responsibility to turn in a Match Description OR a YouTube Link to the "Match_Results" account via the Private Message System. Please reach out to the Admin team if an issue arises trying to submit your match result.
II.
INCOMPLETE MATCHES WILL BE SIMULATED - Any matches without an MD or YouTube Link turned in by Sunday 11:59pm PST Deadline will be simulated (CPU vs CPU) over a Live-Stream
regardless if the match was played or not. Again, it is the winner's responsibility to turn in their match result and notify the Admin team about its status.
III.
VICTORIES AWARDED VIA MS - If you have attempted to schedule with your opponent(s) in good faith but they have made no or minimal effort to schedule and complete the match - you can be awarded the Victory via Match Scheduling. PLEASE NOTE - MS Victories STILL require a Match Result to be turned in (MD or YouTube Link against CPU). Below are Tips on how to Avoid Simulations and Receive MS Victories:
- Msg opponent(s) EARLY in the week on both PSN and FB Chat Group
- Give your general available days & times to schedule the match
- If opponent(s) haven't replied still msg them again every two days as a reminder
- If there is no response/effort shown still by Friday night, contact AnyColor or another admin and we'll look into it
- Match Scheduling attempts started halfway through the card or later will typically be disqualified from receiving an MS Victory -- REACH OUT AND SCHEDULE EARLY!
Following all of the above tips will
help build your case towards receiving a win in place of being simulated. However it is treated on a case-by-case basis as other factors, such as your own/opponent's completed match history, are taken into consideration. If we get a member constantly ducking the admins will handle it at their discretion. Feel free to PM AnyColor if you have any other questions on Match Scheduling.
IV.
FILL-IN MATCHES - If after scheduling in good faith it is determined a member's schedule cannot line up with the rest of the groups, a fill-in by a different member playing as the originally booked superstar can potentially be allowed.
CLICK HERE for the Fill-In Parameters.
V.
DROPPED MEMBERS IN MULTI-MAN MATCHES - for Multi-Mans in which all members can't make it to the match by Friday evening - the remaining members can complete the match without the missing/unavailable member to avoid SIMs
(e.g. 4Way becomes 3Way; 3Way becomes 1v1). This does NOT mean members can complete a multi-man match earlier in the week without EVERYONE because 1 member won't be available until the weekend. The majority of matches in leagues get done on the weekends since we have lives and responsibilities outside of PWG. The group MUST FIRST GET PERMISSION to drop members from the match.
ROLE PLAYS (RP)
I.
MUST WRITE 2 RPs PER PPV CYCLE PER CHARACTER - or else you risk your character(s) being taken from you per the
RP DANGER LIST RULES. However, if you are going to be away for some time whether it's vacation, a family emergency, or you just want a break, please notify an admin so we won't book you and you won't be punished via the RP and No-Show Rule. Also, if you're in a tag team that person can cover your team's RP requirements. Lastly, while you do gain minimum SP if another member writes for your character in a segment or feud, it does NOT count towards your character's 2 RP quota.
II.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ATTACK OTHER CHARACTERS IN AN ALREADY CREATED RP UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS - it is within reason (logical sense), it is an ALREADY created RP they are a part of, and the RP is left TBC for you or is open for anyone to reply to.
EXAMPLES: You can attack someone doing a backstage interview in an RP left TBC for you. You can attack multiple other superstars currently promo'ing in the ring if the RP is Open. But you CANNOT start an RP attacking another member's character without their permission.
Please Remember let's not try to bury people but create feuds and have good stories.
III.
OPEN RP RULES - If you do not end your RP with the words "TBC by ..." or "End RP" then the RP will be classified as OPEN. Members are free to reply to your Open RPs and either interrupt with their own promo, attack, help out, or any combination of those
within reason.
IV.
NO EXCESSIVE USE OF CURSING AND ABSOLUTELY NO USE OF BLATANT RACISM, SEXISM OR LEWD ACTS - that cross the line and go beyond a character's gimmick, or wouldn't be allowed in PG-13 programming. Sexism is classified as discrimination of one's gender OR sexual orientation. Lewd Acts include - but not limited to - rape, nudity, and other inappropriate content. If you have to think about it being okay to do/say/write about then chances are it probably isn't.
V.
NO MURDER OF ANY KIND - If we find out you killed a character in your RP not only will your RP not be added to the show but you will be fired right on the spot.
VI.
NOTHING TOO UNREALISTIC, IMPLAUSIBLE, OR EXCESSIVE - it's a wrestling show at the end of the day so have some fun with it, but it can't reach an OD level of fanfic.
VII.
ADMINS HAVE FINAL SAY IN ANY ISSUE OR DISPUTE ABOUT AN RP - if there is any issue regarding your RP conduct, it is solely at the Admin Team's discretion on the RP's proceedings.
MATCH DESCRIPTIONS (MD)
I.
WINNER(S) OF THE MATCH HAVE FINAL SAY OVER MD CONTENT - as long as it doesn’t break any RP rules mentioned above.
For the purpose of this and the following rules, Post-Match RPs fall under the same category as MDs.II.
TALK TO OPPONENT(S) BEFORE THE MATCH ABOUT MD POSSIBILITIES - if you have an MD Finish in mind for a particular match reach out to your opponent beforehand. That way any MDs they may also have in mind can be accounted for as well, and an equitable agreement can be reached based on which superstar(s) win or lose. Do you want a planned feud to be kicked off by them interfering on your next loss? Offer your opponent(s) back similar protection in case they lose, instead of putting them in an awkward spot after the fact. Otherwise, you will run the chance of conflicting MDs if you happen to lose which can potentially lead to sour grapes that are ultimately avoidable. By the way, no one likes a member that always asks for protected losses when they lose but expects clean wins when they win.
III.
DO NOT POST SPOILER MDs OR POST-MATCH PROMOS IN THE ROLEPLAY SECTION UNLESS IT REQUIRES MULTIPLE MEMBERS REPLIES - We have the Match_Results account for a reason. Send your solo MDs
(don't forget to "code" them) there to avoid heavy spoilers and taking away a reason/anticipation for members to watch the shows (both match results and post-match interactions). RPs get the same avg. amount of views as the shows do so there are no extra eyes on it. However, we understand PMing members to collaborate on an MD together can be an extra hassle, so if you wish you can post a collaborative MD in the roleplay section to more easily work together. Just make sure to put Spoiler tags.
IV.
DO NOT EDIT/TRIM MATCH RECORDING ENDINGS UNLESS AN UNEDITED VERSION IS SENT TO ADMINS FOR SWEAT REVIEW FIRST - Many of us love to trim the pin endings of our matches and write up our own MD endings. However, with the Sweat Meter now in effect, we can no longer allow that to be the sole video turned in due to the possibility of matches being trimmed/edited around any Fair Play Violations or Rule Breaks. Besides, any MD takes precedence over any match recording ending. Just because the referee counted to three in the video doesn't mean you now can't MD a kickout and proceed with the "true" ending. If you still would like to have a Trimmed/Edited Version of your match in the show — you must send the uncut version to an Admin for review first.
V.
CINEMATIC MATCH MDs STILL MUST TURN IN GAMEPLAY RECORDINGS - you still must turn in the Gameplay Recording that was used to determine the Winner of the MD. These types of MDs are awesome and unique to read, but the Sweat Committee still needs to review to enforce the FPP and make sure no one may be getting taken advantage of low-key.
VI.
CIRCUMVENTVENTING FPP INFRACTIONS OR RULE BREAKS VIA MDs - ANY attempt to cover up Rule Breaks, FPP infractions, or otherwise NOT BE TRANSPARENT with the Staff about a match result will lead to immediate punishment including - but not limited to - match result not being scored or recognized officially, reduction in SP, a strike, suspension, or possibly termination. JUST DONT DO IT PLEASE!
